I've always enjoyed taking pictures and have lots of photos going back to my childhood, including visiting beautiful places like France and the Barbados. Since discovering Flickr, a wonderful online photo storage site, I've been slowly uploading my digital pictures there. Please take a look at my Flickr photos and leave comments if you like. Note: many of my pictures are tagged as being visible only to friends or family. You'll have to sign up (free) with Flickr and add me as a friend to be able to see them, sorry.
I have some sets of photos of people I know, feel free to browse.
Just went to the CN Tower and Toronto International Auto Show and snapped about 50 shots of each.
Christmas has been entertaining so far this year. We've each
had a cold or worse and been very busy. Natasha's been very excited and loves her Christmas
tree and the gifts. She's been in a couple plays with church and school and had lots of fun.
I've been to a few weddings this summer in Peterborough, Ottawa, Minden and Sudbury. There's a small random selection of the photos from those weddings to the right. Feel free to click and take a look at more of my photos. Just recently I was at a taping of the Royal Canadian Air Farce in Toronto, and several other interesting places as well.
I've had some people point out that navigating Flickr isn't immediately obvious or intuitive. Flickr works on 'tags'; I might add tags to a photo of the french alps like "mountain" and "alps" and "france" and "vacation". You can then 'search' for my vacation photos by typing in 'vacation' in the "tags" box to the right on my flickr page. You could also simply browse my photos one at a time and if something seemed interesting, click the tag in question below the photo to see more pictures with that same tag.
PS, friends and family can add tags to photos too, so if you think of a tag that seems appropriate, just add it.
Here's a random selection of my Flickr photos for you:
Lots of people use some of the other photo sites, I don't have any pictures on them, but please invite me to yours if you do, I'd love to see them. I have an account on Ringo, for example.
